Fremantle Ports’ 10th Maritime Day at Victoria Quay began with Transport Minister Rita Saffioti formally naming Svitzer’s new tug Newton.
The picture-perfect day then continued with people lining up to board Newton and other boats lining the wharf (below).
People were attracted to displays inside B Shed and outside on Victoria Quay (below).
The helicopter was a drawcard
